The Kansas Department of Commerce Workforce Services (“us”, “we” or “our”) operates the KanVet website (the “Service”). KanVet is made for veterans and for employers and provides resource information to Kansas Veterans. Commerce staff use KanVet to support veterans in meeting their goals.

KanVet collects cumulative data such as the number searches performed or the number of times a particular page is viewed. This data contains no personal information and is only used to evaluate site performance.

We use your information to connect you with Commerce staff and better assist you in meeting your goals and to improve your experience on our website. Personal data are retained unless you request it to be deleted, or per state data retention requirements. Requests to delete personal data submitted through the service should be sent to KanVet.helpdesk@ks.gov. Your request will not affect data you submit to other programs or third parties which you may link to through this site. Requests to delete data submitted to other programs or third parties must be sent directly to such program administrator or third party.

We will not use this data for any commercial purpose.

Our service is not intended for children under 18 years of age, and no one under age 18 may provide any personal information to us or through the service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under age 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on our Website or on or through our services.
